Linocut Printing Workshop
With graphic art I enter a paradise which I cannot reach with my brush.
- Hundertwasser, 1991
Hundertwasser was a master and innovator of many graphic techniques, including lithography, silk screen, etching, colour woodcut and mixed media. Printmaking generally means making multiple copies. It was Hundertwasser’s aim to make various unique pieces within an edition of a graphic, in his aspiration to overcome the chain production by the machine and to produce creative individuality.
In this workshop create a linocut to print on either paper or a textile of your choice - make an artwork for your wall or add a new print/pattern to your own clothes.
**Bring your own items/clothing to print on
