Painting with Pigments

Hundertwasser created his paintings with many interesting paint materials, including pigments from nature.

Guided by our art facilitators, children will explore the exhibition space focusing on the use of colour in Hundertwasser’s paintings, colour inspired by nature.

In the Activity Centre children will create colours from earth pigments, charcoal, chalk and mixed soils.

They will then experiment with different colours to create their own unique paintings.

Our facilitator's will take care of your children so parents are free to leave and have some free time or visit the Hundertwasser in New Zealand 1973-2000 exhibition.

Limited to 15 per workshop
