Private Tours & Events

A private event with us will offer an authentic and unique experience that inspires and excites your guests.  This will generally include private group guided tour, however it can also include hospitality, workshops or a combination of these.

The Hundertwasser Art Centre with Wairau Māori Art gallery is an artwork in itself, it’s a completely unique architecture in harmony with nature.

We have multiple spaces available for venue hire including our foyer areas and the Activity Centre which is ideal for private events.  Across all spaces downstairs we can accommodate up to 120 guests. The Activity Centre is equipped with facilities including tables, chairs and a projector and sound system, making it well suited for events and presentations for up to 60 guests, seated theatre style.

The Aqua Restaurant-Café located on the first floor of the centre can provide full catering and bar management services, also available outside of our standard operating hours if required.

We work closely with Aqua Cafe-Restaurant who can provide onsite catering and bar management services for events, however we can also suggest alternative catering and BYO options.
