Ticket terms and conditions
PLEASE KEEP YOUR TICKET AS PROOF OF ENTRY
Proof of address such as photographic identification or suitable proof of residence may be required to access discounted prices. It is the responsibility of the ticket holder to provide this at the time of entry. Failing to do so may result in the ticket holder being refused entry.
There are no refunds or exchanges on any ticket (including but not limited to where a ticket has been stolen, lost, damaged or defaced in any way or where the ticket holders' circumstances have changed) except as required by the Consumer Guarantees Act or in circumstances deemed exceptional by Hundertwasser Art Centre after adequate consultation.
All Children aged 12 years and under must always be accompanied by an adult while inside Hundertwasser Art Centre
Food and drink are prohibited in all galleries and in the retail shop
Recorded video surveillance operates continuously throughout all public spaces and galleries
Ticket holders consent to being filmed or recorded during their visit
It is the responsibility of ticket holders not to breach copyright when photographing artworks in the galleries
Late arrival during busy periods where pre-bookings are required, may result in lack of or delayed admission
The Hundertwasser Art Centre reserves the right to vary the program, prices and the audience capacity of an event without prior notice.
If the Hundertwasser Art Centre has to cancel your pre-booked admission or event due to reasons beyond our reasonable control, we will advise you. In this case, our liability is limited to a full refund equivalent to the original fee paid. We will not refund any travel, hotels or any other cost.
Tickets may not be re-sold for a premium or used as advertising, promotion, or for other commercial purposes without the written consent of Hundertwasser Art Centre. If a ticket is in breach of this condition, the bearer of the ticket shall be refused entry.
Hundertwasser Art Centre reserves the right to ask any ticket holder to leave without compensation, in circumstances where there is cause to believe that the ticket holder has breached these terms and conditions. Breaches may include but are not limited to failing to comply with the law, regulation or rules applying to an event, contravening staff instructions, or threatening the security of Hundertwasser Art Centre and the safety of staff and visitors.
Hundertwasser Art Centre reserves the right to inspect the bags of visitors
We require visitors to check umbrellas, backpacks, motorcycle helmets, balaclavas, shopping bags, tripods and large bags into our cloakroom at the front desk.
Smoking and vaping is not permitted anywhere in the Hundertwasser Art Centre.

Privacy Statement
Hundertwasser Art Centre respects and protects the privacy of our website users.
The collection and use of personal information by Hundertwasser Art Centre is regulated by the Privacy Act 2020 and the Local Government Official Information Act 1987. Personal information may be collected only for a lawful purpose connected with a function or activity of Hundertwasser Art Centre and only if necessary for that purpose. You may have access to that information and may request to change it.
Hundertwasser Art Centre may collect, retain and update personal information about you which you provide either directly or indirectly. An example of directly provided information is if you send us an email enquiring about information on Hundertwasser Art Centre services or events, or to go on mailing lists. An example of indirectly provided information is through your use of this site and the services and functionality it offers.
Please note that we may collect website visitors' contact information, e.g. email addresses. This information may be used to send general promotional material about our activities which we believe may be useful to you, and to respond to queries arising from our website. Notwithstanding this, we would only use or disclose personal information that you have provided to us or which we have obtained about you if: you have authorised us to do so; we have informed you of the intended use or disclosure and you have not objected to that use or disclosure; or we are authorised, required or permitted by law to use or disclose the information, e.g. for law enforcement.
Hundertwasser Art Centre intends to provide overall statistics about users, site use, demand for relevant products, services, facilities and information, traffic patterns, and related site information to reputable third parties. These statistics will not include any information which personally identifies you.
Cancellation Policy - Admissions and Events
The Hundertwasser Art Centre reserves the right to vary the program, prices and the audience capacity of an event without prior notice.

Additional information for admissions
Should you be unable to visit for whatever reason or wish to change your admission ticket booking date or time, please email us at booking@hundertwasserartcentre.co.nz ideally no later than 10 days prior to your intended visit. Our team will endeavour to accommodate your request. In the event that we are unable to do so, we will offer you an alternative equivalent to the original purchase amount. No refunds will be issued.
Additional information for attending an event
Should you be unable to attend an event for whatever reason or should you wish to cancel a ticket to an event, you will need to do so in writing to us at enquiries@hundertwasserartcentre.co.nz ideally no later than 10 days prior to your intended visit. Our team will endeavour to accommodate your request. In the event that we are unable to do so, we will offer you an alternative equivalent to the original purchase amount. No refunds will be issued.
Additional information if you are hiring an event space
Should you wish to cancel an event booking that you are hosting, you will need to do so in writing to us at enquiries@hundertwasserartcentre.co.nz
30 days or more before the event - 20% discretionary administration fee is applicable.
Less than 30 days before the event - Should you wish to transfer your booking to another date and time, you will need to do so in writing to us at enquiries@hundertwasserartcentre.co.nz ideally no later than 10 days prior to your event. Our team will endeavour to accommodate your request. If we are unable to do so, no refund will be issued.

Shipping Policies
1. Order Processing Time:
Orders are processed within 2 business days (Monday to Thursday).
Orders placed on Fridays or weekends will dispatch on Monday.
During peak periods (e.g., holidays), processing may take slightly longer.
We will inform you of any delays.
2. Shipping Rates and Delivery Estimates:
Domestic Shipping:
Urban North Island: 1 business day
Urban South Island: 2–3 business days
Rural South Island: Up to 7 business days
·International Shipping:
We currently ship online orders to Australia. For other countries, please contact us directly to arrange shipping. International shipping rates are calculated at checkout.
Delivery times vary based on the carrier and may be subject to delays.
3. Shipping Confirmation & Order Tracking:
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details.
Track your shipment anytime on the courier’s website.
4. Customs, Duties and Taxes:
International orders may incur customs fees, duties and taxes, which are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your local customs office for more information before ordering.
5. Damages and Issues:
Please inspect the parcel on arrival. If there is visible damage, do not sign for it.
If your order arrives damaged, notify us within 24 hours with photos.
All parcels are sent with a signature requirement for insurance purposes.
6. Exchanges:
We accept exchanges within 30 days if items are returned in original packaging and condition.
Additional freight charges apply.
Courier Information
We currently use Aramex Courier services, which require a street address for delivery as all parcels are sent with Signature Required for insurance coverage. PO Box addresses are not accepted.
Rural Deliveries: Please check the Aramex courier locator on their website to determine if your address is classified as rural. If it is, an additional lead time may apply.
Delivery Options: You may arrange with the courier for the parcel to be left without a signature, though you assume responsibility if you choose this. Parcels left without a signature are not insured.
Missed Deliveries: If you’re not home when the courier arrives, a card will be left to arrange a convenient delivery time.
Damages: If your order arrives damaged, notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Images will be required to initiate an insurance claim.
Delivery Times & Costs
Freight Charges: Displayed beside each listing, and combined rates are automatically calculated for multiple items in one order. Bulky or heavy orders going to rural or inter-island addresses may incur extra charges. We’ll contact you if this applies.
Delivery Charges: Quoted in New Zealand dollars, including GST and cover packaging, delivery, and insurance.
Delivery Address
Ensure the correct address is provided, as incorrect details may cause delays and potentially additional fees.
Standard Delivery Times
Estimated delivery is 2–3 business days for urban orders, with up to 5 additional days for rural locations. We’ll notify you of any expected delays.
Click & Collect
Orders can be collected from the MuseumShop in the Hundertwasser Art Centre with Wairau Māori Art Gallery, Whangārei Town Basin. You’ll receive a dispatch email once your order is ready for pickup.
International Orders
We ship online orders to Australia and can arrange international shipping elsewhere by request.
